My name is La Trisha LaNae’ Taylor, in the fashion world I am known as Trisha LaNae’. I was Born in Natchez Mississippi; however, I was raised in California (The Bay), by my mother Barbara & my step father James Xavier Jackson. I shared my childhood with two of my sisters La Tasha (my twin), and my younger sister Kushana. I was always surrounded by a loving family, so the love that’s within me is implemented in all of my products. Although I now reside in Houston Texas, California will always be home.

I am the proud parent of a smart, and gifted son who is my greatest inspiration. If I could do anything in life without any limitations I would travel the world, and study other cultures. In my spare time I love to sing, dance, write, read interesting books, watch movies, spend time with family and friends, shop, and attend church. In order to be your best, you have to take time out for yourself and others. I developed a love of the arts early on. My creativity started in my childhood. I was the kid who loved to sing, draw, write, and design fashion. I first learned of my artistic talent in elementary school; I can recall drawing for all my friends as early as the 4th grade. My love for business stems from my dad David Lee Perry. I am proud of his work ethic, and as a business woman I appreciate his wisdom and passion for life. I would like to thank my family for all their support, I am so blessed to have you in my life. I am excited to share what God has blessed me with; this experience is both humbling and rewarding.

In 2008 I decided to turn my creativity into a business. Tula Couture is a fashion and beauty Company that began with a single necklace and a dream. My faith in God allowed me to embrace entrepreneurship whole heartedly, and my love for the arts allowed me to express myself completely. Every piece I design is created with that special touch, which makes Tula Couture unique. My vision for Tula Couture is what keeps me motivated and passionate. I am blessed to be on this journey of entrepreneurship, and excited to share my dream with others along the way. Don’t be afraid to dream!
